Stay Warm with These Layers

Morning guys, so today I have been trying to follow a better schedule and go with it.

The past weekend, I went to downtown with a few friends and it was a good time to take photos of the area and just capture the moment.

The weather was beautiful and it was not so cold, it was cool enough to just wear a light jacket! My type of weather!!

Here, I will show you the outfit I was wearing. Thank you for my friend Amanda in capturing the outfit.

Here, I am wearing a long length shirt to prevent moisture to hit my body. This is my base layer. Then, I am wearing my insulation layer which is my green crewneck, then end it with my shell layer which is my bomber. I then pair it up with some distressed jeans and white mid-top athletic shoes. The layers and colour in my opinion just give it a great vibe. Like, look at it. White, then olive green and black. So perfect. Then also, white shoes to coordinate with the bottom white layer of the shirt.

Olive Green Crewneck - H&M

So there you have it. If you guys ever want to go out when the weather is over 5 and under 12, just grab your crewneck or hoodie and that light jacket!

Spending time in Toronto's best strip when it comes to fashion!

Good Evening everyone!

I have notice that my fashion blog gets views a lot this time but I am thinking to start posting these in the morning. I feel with my new goal as in to be more productive in the morning, I should also start being more committed to my blog as well.

So today, I am going to show you ladies again a cute outfit to wear while out in the strips of downtown.

It's not really hard to create and not much basic. Just great items that are needed especially with the cold weather leaving and warm weather entering out.

While out with my friend and her sister this weekend, we were walking in downtown on the Queen St. strip where every fashion guru knows that is where the best clothing stores are. On our way to get dessert, we encountered the graffiti alley where we decided to take photos. Here, my friend Francesca is wearing a green bomber jacket, with distressed jeans and a pair of classic converse!

Outfit in this photo

Bomber Jackets are fine during Winter?

So you got to ask yourself this question? Are bomber jackets great to wear in the winter time?

You see, winter is the season where it starts in December and ends in March. Between those months, you are experiencing the temperature drop and sometimes you can go outside and wear just a hoodie and pants and sometimes you got to wear a parks jacket with the hat, the scarf, and sweater. Bummer indeed.

Now it is true. You can wear a bomber jacket in the winter, you just want to wear it when the temperature is not below zero. I mean, it can be dry and not be snowing, and the sun is out, but if the weather is below, get ready for the regrets if your plan was to walk in downtown with friends and be wearing your bomber. You might end up going to the store to buy a jacket just because you can't stand the weather.

Now if you want to wear a bomber jacket in the winter, try combining it with a long sleeve shirt. The shirt can be oversized or regular. It will still look good. Pair it up with some distressed denim and shoes, and there you have it right there!!

SIDE NOTE:

Try to wear a bomber jacket that has great reviews by consumers. Some bomber jackets have different material such as leather, nylon, polyester, and cotton. There are probably more but just to warn you if you are someone who is very sensitive to warm weather. Best recommendation is a jacket with cotton and polyester.

Here, model Allan is wearing an outfit that would look great when you wanna wear a bomber jacket during this season.

Allan is wearing the bomber jacket with the lime shirt to give it a great pop with the outfit. The bomber looks oversize but it has a shortcut right down to the waist to show off the layering of the shirt. Because of the cotton material on the jacket, it will also give you a bit warmth which is a bonus especially if you want to go out with a shirt.

THIS IS THE OUTFIT:

Black Bomber Jacket - NDG
Lime Shirt - Gosha Rubchinskiy
Distressed Denim Jeans - Mnml La
Black Pirate Yeezy Boost 350s - adidas

Here you can see the bottom picture with the distressed jeans with the boosts. The pirate blacks give it a great compliment with a black bomber because of the coordination.

Downtown Street Vibes

Hey guys, so this week I went to downtown with an old highschool friend to some photoshoots. It was a great time catching up and I loved how the weather was. During this month, the weather usually gets really cold and drops, but this year it has been different. During this shoot, my friend James wore outfits that you probably wouldn't wear in the early month of the year, but the weather right now is fine with it.

I will now show you guys the outfit that he was wearing during this shoot.

In this first photo, James is wearing a shirt with a beige denim jacket with a black fedora hat. This, with the smooth background, gives it a great artistic look. In this second photo, he is wearing black denim jeans with rips on his knee area which gives it that classy look. He ends up wearing desert boots to complete the look.

Here is the outfit:

Beige Denim Jacket - Forever 21
Black Graphic Tee - Forever 21
Black Fedora - Aldo
Tan Desert Boots - Aldo
Black Ripped Jeans - Zara

Later on, James changed his outfit partially to give it a great street vibe style.

Here, he is wearing a black oversized bomber jacket with the same shirt from the previous photo and the same pair of jeans also. Then he wears the fedora and concludes it with black Chelsea Boots. I mean, how street can you get with this outfit. Metallica shirt and an oversized bomber jacket is a great combination of rock and street.

This outfit includes items such as:

Black Ripped Jeans - Zara
Black Chelsea Boots - Topman

Well, there you have it! An outfit that would go well when chilling with your friends in downtown or when you are at the mall with them. More post coming soon!! Enjoy!

Are Adidas Yeezy Boost 350s better than a pair of Nike Flyknit Roshes?

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350s are amazing shoes. They are so comfortable and have a great style but just like any other great pair of shoes, the price is just too much.

So what if you want a pair of shoes with great detail and with comfortable soles?

I honestly recommend the Nike Flyknit Roshes. They are a great pair of shoes and feel so comfortable.

I have bought these shoes and the compliments I have received wearing these shoes is pretty darn well.

From afar, people would suspect I am wearing a pair of pirate black Yeezy Boost 350s but I am not. The Flyknit Roshes, just like original Roshes that you may have are comfortable and stylish. They are great for a morning jog, working out in the gym or going out with your friends.

I will show you a photo of both the 350s and the Flyknit Roshes.

See the similarities?

MATERIAL:

Although you can see there is a lot of detail on the Yeezy boost, the Flyknits also have that similar detail of stitching. The Flyknit material is great and won't get damaged when you are running in the rain, but the prime knit material is so superb that it feels like a second skin as other reviewers have spoken.

    COMFORT:

While trying on the Yeezys, it feels really comfortable and so great, but the Flyknits give you that same comfortable feeling as well. The worst thing though is wearing these shoes at a family party outside. And while enjoying the party, you see your cousins inviting you to play soccer, which then you end up maybe stepping on some mud or even worst!

    PRICE:

The price for a pair of Nike Flyknit Roshes is about $150 (CAN). This is not a bad price. If you don't want to spend over $200 for some Yeezys, just invest in some Flyknit Roshes. Or if you are team Nike, that's your best suit.
The price for a pair of Adidas Yeezy Boost 350s is about $260 (CAN). A price like that for a pair of shoes with great details created by an artist? That's actually not bad. If you are not afraid of investing another 100, go get a pair of Yeezys.

IN CONCLUSION

Are Nike Flyknit Roshes better than Yeezys? In my opinion, I think they are. I've worn Yeezys and thy are really comfortable but I prefer the Flyknits due to their soles being really soft. I have 2 pairs of Flyknit Roshes: black and red. They are light and comfortable. I have gone out when the weather condition got worse, and although the bottom got dirty, I just used my shoe cleaner and it got rid of the dirt. The Flyknit material is great when dirt is on it. All I do is use a wet brush and dust the dirt off and it is out. I don't know if the Yeezys are the same. I have seen How To videos on cleaning Yeezys. The process is to use a toothbrush and water and soap so it sounds similar to the Roshes... But what if you were out in the park having ice cream and some drops on your shoe? Now that would be difficult to get rid of. If I could get one pair of Yeezy Boost 350s, I would definitely get the moonrock, that is for sure.

Thank you for listening!! I would love to hear your comments on what you believe. Are Nike Flyknit Roshes better or is it worth investing another bill to wear a pair from Kanye West's Yeezy line?
